NHSA - Port Imperial Pump Station No. 3 Rehabilitation

Week-by-Week Overview of Project Phases and Timelines

Week 1:  Thursday, 1-18 and Friday 1-19, the Contractor will mobilize to the site, which include the delivery of equipment.

Week 2:  1-22 to 1-26 the Contractor will begin setting up the by-pass pumps.  On Tuesday 1-23 and Wednesday, 1-24, the Contractor will be excavating in Port Imperial Boulevard to install the by-pass piping.  The roadway will be reopened at the end of each shift.

Week 3:  1- 29 to 2-1 the Contractor will put the pumping station on by-pass and work around the clock to complete the work inside of the pumping station.  The work will not involve excavation but the Contractor will have light tower set-up.  The work is scheduled to take 5-days. 

Week 4:  2-4 to 2-8 the Contractor will demobilize and remove materials and equipment.  They will also have to work within Port Imperial Boulevard.
