Successful Long-Term Control Plan Public Meeting Recap & Video

June 10th LTCP Public Meeting

On Monday, the North Hudson Sewerage Authority (NHSA) held a successful public meeting to discuss our Long-Term Control Plan (LTCP). We were thrilled to see a strong turnout from the community, with attendees showing great enthusiasm and engagement throughout the event.

The meeting commenced with an informative opening talk by Omar Vicioso, our Director of Communications and LTCP Public Outreach Coordinator. Omar emphasized the importance of the LTCP in improving our sewer system and enhancing environmental sustainability in North Hudson.

Following Omar’s introduction, we had an insightful presentation delivered by Richard Wolf, our Executive Director, and Don Conger, our Authority Engineer. Richard and Don outlined the key elements of the LTCP, detailing the projects and initiatives aimed at modernizing our infrastructure and reducing environmental impact. Their presentation highlighted the technical aspects of the plan, as well as the benefits it will bring to our community.

After the presentation, attendees were invited to tour the plant, guided by our knowledgeable operations managers, Mark Berube and Phil Reeve. The tour provided a behind-the-scenes look at our facilities, showcasing the advanced technologies and processes that keep our sewer system running smoothly. Mark and Phil’s expertise and passion for their work were evident, and they answered many questions from curious attendees.

We are grateful for the community's active participation and support. The positive feedback and constructive discussions have reinforced our commitment to transparency and community involvement in our projects.

We look forward to our next LTCP meeting and will continue to keep the public informed about our progress. Your involvement is crucial to the success of our initiatives, and we are excited to continue this journey together.

Stay tuned for updates and announcements about upcoming events. Thank you for your continued support and engagement.
