🚧 Madison Street Infrastructure Improvements - Schedule Update Week of 2/17/2025 🚧

The Madison Street Area Infrastructure Improvements project is underway to help reduce localized flooding during rain events. This includes upgrading inlets, sewers, and water lines, along with elevating roadways, curbs, and sidewalks. These enhancements will better direct stormwater into the sewer system, addressing key flooding concerns.

Traffic Impacts:
To complete this work, there will be parking restrictions, partial road closures, and a 24-hour closure of Madison Street. We are committed to keeping residents informed about the progress and any impacts on daily life.

Upcoming Work Schedule:
📅 Monday, February 17 – Friday, February 21 (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
🚫 No Work on Presidents Day – February 17

Work Activities:

  • Maintain sewer bypass

  • Excavate and install pile caps

  • Install new water main and sewer main

  • Continue installation of helical piles

Traffic Management:
🚧 Madison St closed between 10th and 11th Street
🚫 No parking on Madison St between 10th and 11th Street
👮 HPD will assist with traffic management
