Madison Street Area Infrastructure Improvements - Schedule Update (Week of 2/10/2025)

The Madison Street Area Infrastructure Improvements project is underway to address localized flooding from rain events. This comprehensive effort involves upgrading sewers, water lines, and stormwater infrastructure while elevating roadways, curbs, and sidewalks to better convey stormwater into the sewer system.

Construction Updates & Traffic Management
The following work and traffic activities are scheduled for Monday, February 10th through Friday, February 14th, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

Work Activities:

  • Madison St between 10th and 11th Street:

    • Maintain sewer bypass

    • Excavate and install pile caps

    • Install new water main and sewer main

    • Continue installation of helical piles

Traffic Management:

  • Full closure of Madison St between 10th and 11th Street

  • No parking on Madison St between 10th and 11th Street

  • Hoboken Police Department (HPD) will be on-site to assist with traffic management
