Combined Sewer Improvements For Weehawken and West New York Week of 9/25/2023

The NHSA Collection System Improvements Contract 1 project included  rehabilitating approximately 4,900 linear feet of combined sewers, manholes, and service connections in Union City, West New York, and Weehawken.  The scope of the work includes the use of both trenchless technology such as cured in place lining and conventional open cut repair techniques.  Open cut replacement work includes pipe and service connection repair.

Here's the work scheduled for next week.

  • Monday 9/25 - lining 59th St West New York daytime, lining 47th Street & Park Weehawken nighttime

  • Tuesday and Wednesday 9/26 and 9/27 - lining 51st Street West New York

  • Thursday 9/28 - no work

  • Friday 9/29 - lining 55th Street West New York

Grout work to start week of 10/2 and then remaining segments can be lined
