NHSA H6/H7 Phase 2 - Construction and Traffic Management Activities 01/02/2024
Construction Activities and Traffic Management for the NHSA H6/H7 Phase 2 project for the period 01/02/2024 through 01/05/2024 is as follows:
Construction Activities
o Test Pitting and Soil Sampling on Adams Street between 13th Street and 15th Street intersections including the intersection of Adams Street and 13th Street.
Traffic Management
o Detour signs on Adams Street at 13th Street and 14thStreet intersections.
o Necessary parking spots shall be blocked off by the Parking Authority before Construction Activities begin.
o Local, northbound traffic on Adams Street shall be directed by police officers in the area of Construction Activities.
o Periodic lane shifts and/or lane closures on Adams Street at the 13th, 14th, and 15th Street intersections. OEM will assist with traffic flow at this intersection for any closures.
o Periodic lane shifts and/or lane closures on Adams Street between 13th Street and 15th Street. OEM will assist with traffic flow at this intersection for any closures.
o Per OEM request, the 13th, 14th, and 15th Street intersections will not be closed at the same time to allow for northbound traffic.
o There may be partial impacts to the sidewalks, however, safe passage for pedestrian traffic will be provided at all times.
