NHSA H6/H7 Phase 2: Construction and Traffic Management Activities 09/09/2024 through 09/13/2024

Anticipated Construction Activities and Traffic Management for the NHSA H6/H7 Phase 2 project for the period 09/09/2024 through 09/13/2024 is as follows:

Construction Activities

o   Working inside the Control Building and Wet Well Chamber – 13th Street between Adams and Jefferson South Side

o   Note: Thru traffic will still be allowed, as work will be done off the road.

o    Installing Structure Pile Caps – Adams Street between 13th and 14th.

Traffic Management

o   13th Street between Adams and Jefferson will be open to thru traffic from 9/9 to 9/11.

o   No HPD officers required.

o   No parking signs will be placed on both sides of 13th Street between Adams and Jefferson from 9/9 to 9/11.

o   There may be partial impacts to the sidewalks on 13th Street between Adams and Jefferson in the Work area, however, safe passage for pedestrian traffic.

o   Adams Street between 13th Street and 14th Street will be closed to thru traffic during the day from 9/12 thru 9/13.

o   2 HPD Officers will be present on site to assist in traffic redirection. One will be located at 13th, and one will be located at 14th. 

o   No parking signs will be placed on both sides of Adams Street between 13th Street and 14th Street from 9/12 thru 9/13.

o   There may be partial impacts to the sidewalks on Adams between 13th and 14th Streets in the Work area, however, safe passage for pedestrian traffic will be provided at all times.
