NHSA Grand Street Interceptor And Pump Station Feasibility Study - Traffic Management Week Of 10/23/23

Please find the traffic plan for the soil boring work we have planned for next week.  A written description of the work and the traffic management can also be found below. 

 

Monday, 10/23/2023

  • Craig Testing will be on-site with a drilling rig to take a soil boring (B-11) at the southwest end of Grand Street where it meets 4th Street.

  • Grand Street between 4th street and 5th street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • One lane on Grand Street will be maintained open for local traffic only.  

  • A uniformed police officer will be present to direct local traffic around the construction work.

  • Several parking spots at the southwest end of Grand Street where it meets 4th Street will be closed by the Parking Authority for the day, to allow the construction work to be performed.

 

Tuesday, 10/24/2023

  • Craig Testing will be on-site with a drilling rig to take a soil boring (B-10) at the northwest end of Grand Street where it meets 4th Street.

  • Grand Street between 3rd street and 4th street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • One lane on Grand Street will be maintained open for local traffic only.  

  • A uniformed police officer will be present to direct local traffic around the construction work.

  • Several parking spots at the northwest end of Grand Street where it meets 4th Street will be closed by the Parking Authority for the day, to allow the construction work to be performed.

 

Wednesday, 10/25/2023

  • Craig Testing will be on-site with a drilling rig to take a soil boring (B-29A) at the northwest end of Grand Street where it meets 16th Street.

  • Grand Street between 15th street and 16th street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • One lane on Grand Street will be maintained open for local traffic only.  

  • A uniformed police officer will be present to direct local traffic around the construction work.

  • Several parking spots at the northwest end of Grand Street where it meets 16th Street will be closed by the Parking Authority for the day, to allow the construction work to be performed.

 

Thursday, 10/26/2023

  • Grand Street between 3rd street and 4th street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • Grand Street between 2nd street and 3rd street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • One lane on Grand Street will be maintained open for local traffic only.  

  • A uniformed police officer will be present to direct local traffic around the construction work.

  • Several parking spots at the northwest end of Grand Street where it meets 3rd Street will be closed by the Parking Authority for the day, to allow the construction work to be performed.
