NHSA Weehawken Infrastructure Project Two Week Look Ahead For 10/23 - 11/03/2023

Week 1: 10/23-10/27/2023

Blvd East Work – Blvd East around intersection of Blvd East and Hamilton Ave

The traffic pattern will flow in a single lane to the south of the work zone. There will be no parking towards the intersection of Blvd East and Hamilton Ave on Blvd East between King Ave and Hamilton Ave. As construction progresses, the work zone will move to Hamilton Ave. No traffic, no parking on Hamilton Ave. Local residents have been notified.

House Keeping

·       No vehicles, equipment, or materials will be stored on the sidewalk.

·       Variable messages boards set up on Blvd East approaching the work zone.

·       Traffic signs to be posted when necessary.

Week 2: 10/27-11/03/2023

Week two will be dependent on the progress in week 1. This plan will be updated after week 1.

Hamilton Ave – continuing work on Hamilton Ave. No traffic, no parking on Hamilton Ave.

Upcoming schedule:

The remainder of the work on Blvd East is expected to be finished approximately October 27th. Upon completion of the Blvd East work, the crew will move to Hamilton Ave and continue the installation of pipes and stormwater infrastructure.
