NHSA Grand Street Interceptor and Pump Station Feasibility Study - Traffic Management Week of 11/6/23

Monday, 11/6/2023

  • Craig Testing will be on-site with a drilling rig to take a soil boring (B-2) at the southeast end of 1st Street where it meets Madison Street.

  • 1st Street between Madison street and Monroe street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • One lane on 1st Street will be maintained open for local traffic only.  

  • A uniformed police officer will be present to direct local traffic around the construction work.

  • Several parking spots at the southeast end of 1st street where it meets Madison Street will be closed by the Parking Authority for the day, to allow the construction work to be performed.

 

Tuesday, 11/7/2023

  • Craig Testing will be on-site with a drilling rig to take a soil boring (B-1) at the southeast end of 1st Street where it meets Monroe Street.

  • 1st Street between Monroe street and Jackson street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • One lane on 1st Street will be maintained open for local traffic only.  

  • A uniformed police officer will be present to direct local traffic around the construction work.

  • Several parking spots at the southeast end of 1st Street where it meets Monroe Street will be closed by the Parking Authority for the day, to allow the construction work to be performed.

 

Wednesday, 11/8/2023

  • Craig Testing will be on-site with a drilling rig to take a soil boring (B-13) at the northwest end of Grand Street where it meets 6th Street.

  • Grand Street between 5th street and 6th street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • One lane on Grand Street will be maintained open for local traffic only.  

  • A uniformed police officer will be present to direct local traffic around the construction work.

  • Several parking spots at the northwest end of Grand Street where it meets 6th Street will be closed by the Parking Authority for the day, to allow the construction work to be performed.

 

Thursday, 11/9/2023

  • Craig Testing will be on-site with a drilling rig to drill Environmental Temporary Wells (TWP-6 and TWP-7) at the northwest end of Grand Street where it meets 16th Street and the southeast end Grand Street where it meets 13th Street.

  • Grand Street between 13th-14th street and 15th-16th street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • One lane on Grand Street will be maintained open for local traffic only.  

  • A uniformed police officer will be present to direct local traffic around the construction work.

  • Several parking spots at the northwest end of Grand Street where it meets 16th Street and the southeast end of Grand Street where it meets 13th street will be closed by the Parking Authority for the day, to allow the construction work to be performed.
