NHSA H6/H7 Phase 2 - Construction and Traffic Management Activities 08/05/2024 through 08/09/2024

Anticipated Construction Activities and Traffic Management for the NHSA H6/H7 Phase 2 project for the period 08/05/2024 through 08/09/2024 is as follows:

Construction Activities 

• Electrical Relocation on Adams Street and 14th Street intersection

• Note: Contractor will be doing Work on the three (3) light poles under the viaduct on the west side of Adams Street.

• Installing Helical Anchors on Adams Street between 13th Street and 15th Street.

• Note: Contractor will be using an excavator to install the anchors. Contractor will be performing noise monitoring throughout the Work.

Traffic Management 

• Adams Street between 13th Street and 15th Street will be closed to thru traffic from 8/5 to 8/9.

• 2 HPD Officers will be present on site to assist in traffic. One will be located at 13th and Adams, and one will be located at Adams Street and 15th Street.  

• No parking signs will be placed on both sides of Adams Street between 13th Street and 15th from 8/5 thru 8/9.

• There may be partial impacts to the sidewalks on Adams Street between 13th and 15th in the Work area, however, safe passage for pedestrian traffic will be provided at all times.

• Re: Electrical Relocation - Safe passage will be provided for pedestrians at all times, and pedestrian traffic may be pushed temporarily to the east side of Adams Street.
