North Hudson Sewerage Authority (NHSA) H6/H7 Phase 2 - Construction and Traffic Management Activities in Hoboken from May 20, 2024 through May 24, 2024

Anticipated Construction Activities and Traffic Management for the NHSA H6/H7 Phase 2 project for the period 05/20/2024 through 05/24/2024 is as follows:

Construction Activities

• Installing Helical Anchors on Adams Street between 14th Street and 15th Street.

• Note: Contractor will be using an excavator to install the anchors. Contractor will be performing noise monitoring throughout the Work.

• Removing Granite Curbs on the West side of Adams Street and 14th Street from the area under the Viaduct.

Traffic Management

• Adams Street between 13th Street and 15th Street will be closed to thru traffic from 5/20 thru 5/21.    

• 14th Street between Adams and Grand Street will be closed to thru traffic from 5/20 thru 5/21.  

• 2 HPD Officers will be present on site to assist in traffic redirection. One will be located at 13th, and one will be located at 14th. 

• No parking signs will be placed on both sides of Adams Street between 13th Street and 15th Street from 5/20 thru 5/21.

• There may be partial impacts to the sidewalks on Adams between 13th and 14th Streets in the Work area, however, safe passage for pedestrian traffic will be provided at all times.  Pedestrian traffic will be redirected around the areas where the granite curbs are being removed.

• Adams Street between 14th Street and 15th Street will be closed to thru traffic during the day from 5/22 thru 5/24.

• 2 HPD Officers will be present on site to assist in traffic redirection. One will be located at 14th, and one will be located at 15th. 

• No parking signs will be placed on both sides of Adams Street between 14th Street and 15th Street from 5/22 thru 5/24.
